Was running shadowlands without issue last night then this morning have been unable to open the game with no changes to anything. Getting error #132 fatal exception: access_violation, memory could not be “read”. Have tried deleting/renaming cache/WTF folders, have uninstalled all add ons, uninstalling and reinstalling wow. Have tried running compatibility mode and as administrator. Drivers up to date. I am able to run classic without issue. I am at a loss of what to do.
Create a new Windows admin account and see if that helps.
Same issue. Did creating a new admin account help?
I doubt another account does anything with it. The memory error is hardware specific or how the game uses said hardware. So the key issue is what your hardware, then want’s your RAM configuration and so on.
