Please pay respects for Garrosh

I am legitimately upset they threw away his character by making himself disenchant himself. At least he did it in a cool badass way.

Give a lok’tar ogar for my boy

They turned lich daddy arthas into a fart of 35 anima and the helm of domination into a burger king crown… i like garrosh and all but i feel legitimately insulted with how they did my boy arthas and the helm dirty.

Garrosh is conflicting. Because in my head, Rosenivy HATED him. But me as a player just liked how unapologetic he was.

I just flat out hated him. Still do.

Yea, shadows did ruin a lot of characters… Arthas most of all. Like why have the afterlife if you aren’t gonna give us some of the best characters… you have em use em… Kael didn’t do much after the first raid and a quest line. Garrosh was literally nothing but yelling and a short exit in the raid. I wanted to some old characters too… like hell Ogrim Doomhammer would have been fun. They did so little but had so much usable material… whoever the writers are, they need to find a new profession.

Edit: what about Sylvanas’s parents… do some whole disappointment arc with her? Have her parents shun her… WTF!?!

The part with the “Burger King crown” still gives me a chuckle

How about no?

I’m glad more lore characters aren’t canonically bound to the horrible afterlives we saw.

Revealing the afterlife was such a stupid move on blizzards part. Some things are better left a mystery

Whip your 2h weapons out for Garrosh

I wish they said it wasn’t the real afterlife, or say it was made up by some evil entity as a buffer to the actual one. And then the jailers motivation could have been to break the shadowlands to make us get to the real afterlife. He should have won then in the end and we got sent back. It at least would have been a little better

How the characters in a story and how the audience reacts to an antagonist don’t necessarily need to be in sync with each other.

Anyone in-world who would have sided with Garrosh would have died fighting for him in MoP, realized what a dismal failure he was and moved on, or just… probably died in general because Azeroth is a dangerous place and there’s a maximum level of dumb you can be without plot armor before you eat it.

But yes, for all his many colossal, glaring, overt, indelible faults… Garrosh was 100% Garrosh without any “th’ devul made me do it!” styled “corruption” or “nyuuu, I left half my soul in my other pants” excuses. That’s refreshing, and I have to give him credit for it.

He really thought I was letting him keep the shoulders.:rofl::rofl:

Oh I’m aware. Rosenivy has just been in my head for ages now so he’s a bit loud lol.

Just what happens when you work on a character long enough
