Ever feel like you don’t belong?

I had an epiphany. Sometimes, you are just different from society. Not an introvert, but far from the limelight. It makes you wonder, what’s your purpose? What’s your value? Is it it worth it? These are the lyrics of a dirge that circulates in the mind occasionally.

I’m the opposite. I used to have tons of friends. I was super outgoing and loud and weird. Still is me but I try to dial it down. It’s too much having too many ppl in your life, imo. I just like a few ppl in my life.

Also, the older I get the lest filtered I am and more real. So, were some really my friends or just what they knew about the filtered me. Ya know?

Comparison is a thief and soul destroyer. Be the best you that you can be.

I belong.

Everyone else doesn’t.

Coffee and insomnia don’t mix well for me.

I embrace my weirdness. My kookiness is what helps me be a more creative artist. I tried normal and it just didn’t work for me.

I’m still waiting for the mothership to come pick me up.

I belong to myself, my wife, my family, and my job.

But I don’t feel I belong in society.

Thank God.

Everyone fits in somewhere. People aren’t really that unique.

What is normal?

I do feel like a lot of ppl are sheep but maybe my viewpoint is skewed.

I’m outta hearts.

Go take a nap

I thought it a curse in high school. Now, I am not so sure. There is a blessing in the mundane.

Bob was weird. Megabyte didn’t care for him.

I tried and failed to become a straight laced corporate lawyer. I just didn’t fit in to that world. Too much a hippie at heart. Now I’m a moderately successful artist who bills straight laced corporate types for my creative works.

Every day.

You all belong in myspace, back in 2004.

Most of my life. Bothered me when I was younger, but as I got older the less I cared and now I don’t even think about it.
