We're currently in the process of completely redoing the way this code works and moving it to run on node.js possibly but this would be a good fix in the mean time.

So you're moving it away from python? @joeybab3
Like no python?

You could put them anywhere. I used conda to install all the dependencies. Then the directory and run
python visualization.pyit should use your default microphone input by default.

You could test the connection of the strip to the esp by running one of the default strandRGB example included in arduino.

@noppelmax good to know, one thing, how did u manage to connect all the strips in the bar u show in the video? u use different power sources or just one?

@richyxi I don't known anymore. Some 1000uF. Depends on the length of the cables and strips. But having the ESP on the supplied side already helped a lot. I'm setting up a similar installation right now. That is why I'm coming back to this PR.
