Envato has recorded its best result ever in the annual Great Place to Work survey.
Envato has again been recognised as one of the best places to work in Australia.
The Melbourne-based tech company and the home of one of the world’s largest creative communities, Envato placed 7th in the 100-999 employees category.
It’s the sixth consecutive year Envato has been recognised in the awards, and its highest finish ever.
This is the 12th Annual Edition of the Best Places to Work benchmarking study in Australia. The study is conducted based on one of the world’s most comprehensive studies of workplace culture by Great Place to Work Australia.
Envato’s Chief People Officer Michelle Ridsdale said the company’s continued success comes from putting its people first. “We really care about our people and this is demonstrated in many ways at Envato; not just in our programs and benefits, but also in our approach to seeking and actioning feedback, with our values at the core of everything we do.”
“One of the key areas of focus we’ve had in the past 18 months is investing in our leaders. We truly believe in creating an environment that supports our people to do their best work in a great environment,” she said.
“We believe our people are the key to our success and especially our teams. If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together. Our CEO (Collis Ta’eed) uses this quote regularly and it’s something we ensure is at the core of our programs.”
“It’s not easy to keep up with competitors as many companies are taking an innovative approach to making their organisations an awesome place to work. It takes all of us, our leaders and our people to help make Envato a great place to work,” concluded Michelle Ridsdale.
Zrinka Lovrencic, MD of Great Place to Work Australia congratulated Envato on its success, saying it was a testament to the organisation’s willpower and innovation to retain happy, engaged, loyal, high performing workforces.
“It is companies such as Envato which will not only retain but also attract the most committed and engaged team members during this tight labour market period.
“Being named one of the Best Places to Work provides organisations with a fantastic opportunity to actively promote their hard work and success and further increase their exposure”.
