Over two centuries of history

ParisTech benefits from the heritage of its schools: five of them were founded in the 18th century, the rest at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. All are public and come under the aegis of various French ministries, Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry or the City of Paris.In the 1990s, the schools were federated into an organisation, ParisTech, and started developing inter-school activities.
In 2007 ParisTech became a Public Establishment of Scientific Cooperation, giving the network an institutional framework to strengthen its development, especially on the international level.

High level education

ParisTech offers top MSc of Engineering and Management, Master of Science, MBA and PhD courses covering every area of science and engineering. Students receive science and managerial training preparing them to hold key positions in companies, in civil service or in academic research institutes.
