Nicki Minaj Passes Taylor Swift for Second-Most Hot 100 Hits Among Women

Minaj debuts as featured on Major Lazer's "Run Up," marking her 71st entry, one more than Swift's total. Among women, only Aretha Franklin has more: 73.

Nicki Minaj breaks a tie with Taylor Swift for the second-most Billboard Hot 100 appearances among women, as she debuts as featured (with PARTYNEXTDOOR) on Major Lazer‘s “Run Up” at No. 66 (on the chart dated Feb. 18). Now with 71 Hot 100 entries, Minaj one-ups Swift, who has made 70 visits.

Minaj and Swift trail only Aretha Franklin for the most Hot 100 hits among women, as the Queen of Soul boasts 73.

Among all acts, the cast of Fox’s Glee leads with 207 charted Hot 100 titles, followed by Lil Wayne (133) and Drake (132). Franklin is in 10th place among all acts for the highest total and Minaj ties The Beatles for 11th (with her 70th Hot 100 hit, “Black Barbies,” with Mike WiLL Made-It, a reimagination of Rae Sremmurd‘s “Black Beatles,” featuring Gucci Mane).

Swift, meanwhile, enjoys an impressive week of her own with her Zayn collab “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades Darker),” which hits a new high on the Hot 100, rising 5-3.
