I am trying to develop a tool that I can use to mould 2 steel parts together in a highly accurate and repeatable manner.
I have my one machinery to create the tooling and I also have a hot press but I have no knowledge of how to create the tooling, for instance it has to cope with machining tolerances that may be outside of the overall assembly tolerance.
the steel parts have indexing chamfers that could be used to locate the parts but again if these are at the opposite end of the tolerance band the whole assy could be out of concentricity and alignment any help please ?
