Cute little leather slippers made of cowhide nappa leather with Pippi Longstocking and Little Uncle on leather in blue. All other leather colors are possible for the crawling shoes. In my other slippers you will find many other color examples and color combinations. You can put everything together freely.

With me you will find handmade leather crawling dolls for children in sizes from 17/18 to size 30. All the motifs that you find with me are thought up, painted and handcrafted by me. Most of the motifs were created on request. So if you have a great new motif idea, please contact me. All color combinations are basically possible for all slippers and motifs.

Leather slippers offer babies great support in learning to walk even before they make their first attempts to walk. They help them to quickly stand on their own feet and take their first steps. They provide support and security, especially when crawling on smooth floors, as they do not have a solid sole. Slippers protect against cold and injuries. A thin sole allows you to learn natural movements.

The elastic band is loosely knotted so that it can be adjusted to fit the child's foot, shortened and pulled into the back hem. I use brown suede soles so that cookie crumbs are well camouflaged.

I use cowhide nappa leather:
• No use of AZO dyes •
• Use of fatty substances without organachlorine compounds •
• Free from PCP, PCB, CFC, formaldehyde and chromium VI •
• Aqueous finishing systems (solvent-free) •
• According to German environmental regulations “Made in Germany” •

Sizes:
To determine the exact size, you can measure your foot from heel to toe while standing. The toes curl better when standing.
For the smaller sizes, don't order too large, because when you stand up and pull yourself up, the shoe, as it is significantly softer than a sturdy shoe, tends to fold over and is more likely to trip.
Keep in mind that I have already taken some space into account in my sizes compared to the shoe size.

For the winter I have wool felt soles that can be inserted into the slippers. You should keep in mind that they are 3-4 mm thick and therefore the shoe loses some space. They can be ordered in my shop as a separate item.

Care: The slippers can be cleaned with a damp cloth. If they get completely wet, let them dry slowly (not on the heater) and knead them carefully every now and then so that they stay supple. If the sole becomes a little smooth, you can roughen it up a little again with a wire brush, for example from a hardware store.
