The Symbol The self–reflecting twin snakes Ida & Pingala , in eternal dance. Their monadic unification is derived from the rod of Hermes ( a.k.a. Thoth , Enoch , Idris , &c — a key figure in ancient Kemet ). This image is then placed upon what is known as Metatron’s Cube — which is the simplest geometric expression of all known forms of the Platonic solids . Note that the snakes cross paths in 7 different places —an eternal, recursive, and self–referential pattern.
