After graduating from London’s Architectural Association and working in practice in Medellín, Colombia, Mollard joined the AR’s editorial team as an intern in the summer of 2013, before taking on a full-time position from September 2014 and assuming the role of Deputy Editor for the last 17 months.

‘Having joined the AR’s editorial team five years ago, I have helped shape the title’s print content and grow its online presence. It’s been a constant learning curve, and I look forward to building on my predecessors’ legacy. The AR’s historic importance is undeniable, but it is essential to prove its ongoing relevance. It’s a great honour to take on the challenge,’ said Mollard.

Paul Finch, the Editorial Director of both the AR and its sister title the Architects’ Journal, said: ‘After more than a year as “maternity cover editor” for Christine Murray – to whom we extend our thanks for her stewardship of AR and best wishes for the future – I am delighted to announce Manon Mollard’s promotion from Deputy Editor to Editor. The magazine will flourish under her capable leadership. Eleanor Beaumont is also promoted to Assistant Editor.’
