Should Empirical Mode Decomposition be mentioned? Kem wiki (talk) 14:30, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Looks as if it should, although it doesn't look easy to either understand or summarise that article for an inclusion here. There is also the difficulty of whether it should be Hilbert–Huang_transform, Empirical Mode Decomposition or both. I will add a see also as a stop-gap. If Cyclical is "repeated but non-periodic", and Seasonal is some repeating function repeating over the course of one year, what is the term for 'other periodic, repeating components that do not have the same frequency as the Seasonal'? 71.139.166.154 (talk) 00:36, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
